5 Reasons to Visit Walt Disney World in 2024
It’s hard to believe that 2024 is less than two months away! If you haven’t started thinking about your Disney vacation in 2024, don’t wait any longer. It will be a great year to visit Walt Disney World and here are 5 reasons why:
1. Dining Plans Return
Disney’s Dining Plan options will return on January 9, 2024. Two dining plans will be offered: Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and Disney Dining Plan. The dining plan is a great way to pre-pay for dining which provides you more convenience, flexibility and savings. Your ADJ Travel Professional can help you select which plan is best for your family.
2. Park Hopping
Beginning January 9, 2024, all-day park hopping is returning to Walt Disney World. Guests with park hopper tickets will no longer need to wait until 2:00 p.m. or later to hop to another park. This provides more flexibility for your park touring plans.
3. New Bakery and Cafe coming to Disney’s Boardwalk
The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers is coming to Disney’s Boardwalk sometime in 2024. This bakery and cafe is known for its delicious cakes, will serve a variety of pastries and baked goods as well as offer counter service and table service restaurant.
4. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Splash Mountain attraction closed this year and is in the process of being reimagined into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This attraction is anticipated to open in late 2024.
5. Returning Festivals at EPCOT
EPCOT is known for its amazing festivals. With four different festivals throughout the year, there isn’t a bad time to visit EPCOT. At the time of publishing only the EPCOT International Festival of the Art had been announced (January 12 - February 19, 2024). However, EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays are expected to return as well.
