Client Spotlight: First Look at Journey of Water
At ADJ Travel, we love it when our clients share their travels with us! Nothing makes us happier than to see and hear about their experiences while on vacation. Recently, one of Adrian’s clients, Jennifer, was able to experience the new Journey of Water attraction at Epcot during a special Annual Passholder preview. She was kind enough to write down a little about her first look and share it with us!
“This past week I got to attend the Annual Passholder preview of Journey of Water inspired by Moana. Disney has taken inspiration and theming from Moana to create an interactive trail where you get to explore and learn about the water cycle. As you enter the trail the scenery and foliage transport you into the world of Moana, where you get to become part of the lush island she called home. You get to take on the magic of water and to “play” with it.
We stopped at seven different points along the trail to interact with the water. At the first spot you get to make water play music, then you can direct water to jump around, you get to control its height, and so much more. Kids dance through the splash pad in one spot and run through waterfalls. Disney has also included paths for those who prefer to stay dry and just watch what water can do. On the hot day we visited this was a cool area to visit, in more ways than one.
My husband and I were blown away by this walk-through experience. Disney describes it as an interactive exploration trail where you get to explore the wonders of water. It is so much more!”
Thanks so much for sharing with us, Jennifer!
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana officially opens on October 16. What an amazing addition to Epcot—we can’t wait to check it out ourselves!
